Actor Mel Gibson, one of many stars to lose his home, attacked the Democratic politician in an appearance on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.

“He said he was going to take care of the forests, but he didn’t do anything. I think all our tax money went to buy him some hairspray.”

“It’s crazy to think they spent $24 billion last year on homelessness and how much to prevent these wildfires?” asked the host.

“Zero,” Gibson replied.

James Woods, echoing statements by President-elect Donald Trump, said climate change is not the cause of the fires. Instead, he pointed the finger at “liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and [la mairesse de Los Angeles] Karen Bass.»

Former NASCAR and INDYCAR driver Danica Patrick, who supported Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, went so far as to call for Mr. Newsom’s resignation.

The mayor too

Others pointed the finger at local officials and Mayor Bass. This is the case of actress Sarah Michelle Gellar.

“Los Angeles, you want everyone to evacuate, but it’s a total standoff with no officers on the roads to help,” she complained.

Actor Dennis Quaid also added his voice to those of M’s detractorsme Bass, condemning his lack of answers at the press conference.
