Caroline Jamet will become president of Cogeco Media on February 3.
She will succeed Caroline Paquet, whose unexpected departure was announced at the end of last August, in a tumultuous context.
Ms. Jamet notably proved herself at the start of her career with L’Équipe Spectra, where she became a key influencer in the Quebec cultural landscape, playing an important role in the growth and national and international recognition of the Jazz Festival. Montreal and the FrancoFolies de Montréal.
At Gesca, then owner of The Pressshe assumed the commercial management of two publishing divisions in addition to being involved in the digital transformation of the newspaper.
Most recently, she led -’s French-language radio and audio sector, helping to increase market share and leading the development of its digital strategy.

Cogeco Media owns and operates 21 radio stations including the Rythme network stations, 98.5 FM, 96.9 CKOI, The Beat 92.5 as well as four Planète stations.
