Guest on RTL, Guillaume Canet spoke about the physical preparation he had to undertake for the film in which he did almost all his stunts: “There was one that I was not allowed to do , the stuntman strictly forbade me to do it,” he says. “Before the film, I felt monumentally dizzyI couldn’t bend over to the first floor and the preparation with them (the GIGN, editor’s note) was truly incredible”, he assures.

“That’s where we see, that they really have the ability to disconnect the brain at a moment. They taught me that, to overcome precisely this fear. In preparation, I couldn’t move forward on the roof, I was on all fours, I asked them to move away from the void (…) and there, during the filming, I was standing on the edge of the void, I looked everywhere, I told them ‘this’ is crazy!’”, confides Guillaume Canet.
