The twins of King Frederik

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine thus conclude their first year as children of the new sovereign. Last year, six days after their anniversary, their grandmother, Queen Margrethe II, abdicated, and their father, Frederik, ascended the throne. On January 14, 2024, the first day of the reign of Frederik X, his children obtained privileges reserved for the children of a sovereign. Thus, his three youngest children, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine, became knights of the Order of the Elephant. King Frederik’s eldest son, Crown Prince Christian, had already been a knight of the order since he came of age.
