The Saturday January 11, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. andMichel-Canoville cultural spacethe cultural season of La Hague (Manche) offers “What knots us” presented by the company Groupe Déjà for a joyful and scathing exposure of the couple on the theatrical couch.


Open to the exploration of writing and contemporary aesthetics, but also to the transversality of forms and mixtures of genres, Groupe Déjà conceive shows where theater, gesture, idiocy, manipulated objects, music, humor, philosophy, sense and nonsense intersect.

A cathartic desire

The “couple” has constantly inspired l’art and the literaturebut still, nothing is resolved. So let’s ask this big question again: why live as a couple? Let’s put the couple on the theatrical couch! Let’s free him! Let’s celebrate it! All in a cathartic desire.

Desire to be in a relationship to the couple without desire passing through passionTHE love photos and the daily“we will dissect, triturate, examine and distort our behavior as a couple through an exquisite corpse of situations”.

A recent resident

Theater of reality, by turns idiotic and wild, tender and caustic, bitter and poetic, Groupe Déjà questions the couple’s pretension to their sustainable development.
