Prayssac. Patrick Benoiton, an inspired jack-of-all-trades

Patrick Benoiton held a signing session at the Racines de Prayssac bookstore, an opportunity to meet a very interesting, multifaceted character. Journalist, writer, editor, business manager, traveler, navigator, therapist… he uses his pen to write as he sails at sea. Moreover, his latest book “A History of Cape Horn”, published by Glénat, is a very great success. Its literary genres also include the human sciences, dark novels, thrillers, children’s literature, comics and manga.

After a troubled childhood and an explosive adolescence, Patrick Benoiton turned to journalism by studying at the Practical Institute of Journalism; he was a freelancer at 3, Canal santé. Journalist at Bateaux magazine, her career evolves by moving to another house. Then a few sabbatical years led him to travel to South America and the Caribbean. Time passes and this jack of all trades begins a professional reconversion towards psychotherapy, a profession he has been practicing for around fifteen years now in the Lot where he has his office in Carnac-Rouffiac.

However, writing remains a necessary occupation for him. Today he wishes to broaden his thematic field to therapy and has plans for a screenplay and two novels. Married, living in the Lot for some time, he has ideal predispositions for writing.
