The plot: three characters accompanied by an accordion, celebrate, through poems, interactive songs and small but essential everyday exploits, the freedom and beauty of the world around us. They remind us with tenderness that it is still time and above all possible to act in a thousand and one ways in favor of it and that the hummingbird of today can be the lion of tomorrow.

Discover the treasures of Jacques Glénat collector

The Sainte-Cécile convent in Grenoble presents a exposition titled Madly passionate bringing together, in six themes, some 150 objects and works of art from the collection of Jacques Glénat, founder of the famous Glénat editions. The visit will delight young and old.

Enjoy the last days of the exhibition Grace and silence at the Grenoble Museum

Saturday January 4 and Sunday January 5, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., au Grenoble Museum : exposition Grace and silence, around Philippe de Champaigne.

Philippe de Champaigne (1602-1674) was, with Nicolas Poussin and Georges de La Tour, one of the undisputed masters of 17th century French painting.e century, incarnation of classicism, acclaimed by both the king and the Church. Since its creation, the Grenoble Museum has brought together several masterpieces by this masterful painter and today maintains one of the most important collections alongside that of the Louvre. He invites you to rediscover them on the occasion of the 350e anniversary of his death.

To complete this journey through the rooms of the permanent collection, a display offers a chance to review a selection of French drawings from the 17th centurye century from the collection. Finally, the public can also admire the works of Pierre Buraglioinvited in residence at the museum in the summer of 2024, the artist worked in front of the paintings of Philippe de Champaigne. A work which is part of a rereading of great artists for over forty years.

Encouraging skiers at the Chamrousse regional grand prix

Sunday January 5, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Florence Masnada slalom stadium in Chamrousse 1650 : regional grand prix from Chamrousse, regional race in alpine skiing for the U18 (under 18 years old) and Master categories (from 30 years old).

Take the opportunity to discover the news rail sled one kilometer long with six banked bends for thrill-seekers.

Practical

The rail sled is open from 10:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., 8 p.m. on Saturdays during school holidays. Price: 8 euros per descent.
