How did you experience this invitation from France 2?
Axelle Saint-Cirel: I was very surprised! It’s a program that I know well and which is special, because it highlights the artists of tomorrow. It was an immense honor to replace Julie Fuchs for the final and to rub shoulders with the other members of the jury, very renowned in their field.
Were you able to provide advice to the participants?
Yes, the same ones that I was able to receive when I was younger and which concern technique, phrasing, body tension, diction of the text, and which I put into practice every day. The sooner we acquire good reflexes, the better.

What memories do you have of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games?
A rather precious memory of the confidentiality in which I evolved during the months of preparation, because I am a reserved person. But I was lucky enough to find myself surrounded by the greatest experts in their field, for a joint project. At that moment, I had to do my job as best as possible to put them in the spotlight.
Did you feel any JO effect afterwards?
Yes ! What surprised me the most? May I be recognized more in New York than in Paris! One little girl even told me that she had asked her mother to enroll her in the conservatory. Music belongs to everyone.
