This Saturday, December 28, 2024, Roxane Stojanov was named principal dancer of the Paris Opera, following the performance of Paquita, during which she played the role of principal dancer.
It’s on Paquitathe ballet by Pierre Lacotte in which she had the main role as Roxana Stojanov shone, this Saturday, December 28, 2024. The Director of the Paris National Opera went up – as tradition dictates – to announce the news himself on stage, in front of the public who attended the performance and to name the dancer of the highest distinction of the Paris Opera.
Since 2007, Roxane Stojanov has been a regular at the Paris Opera: firstly student at the Dance Schoolshe is then engaged in the Corps de Ballet of the Paris Operareceived several awards and received a promotion as first dancer in 2022.
