Creative finale for the 2024 young audience workshops

For the last young audience workshop of the year, children were able to take an interest in the portraits and costumes of the Maison des Lumières, Saturday December 28.

There were around fifteen of them taking advantage of the last young audience workshop of the year, led by Laetitia Migueres, cultural mediator of the Langres museums. After a short tour of the collections at the Maison des Lumières, in line with the theme of the workshop, the children were then able to apply what they saw.

For older children, the workshop was devoted to portraits; for the little ones, it focused on costumes. Everyone was able to express their creativity and create their own portrait, or design their own costume on a puppet. All the children then left with their creation, to keep a souvenir of this activity and show the result to their parents. Waiting for 2025 for new workshops for young audiences, organized by the Langres museums.

  • Laetitia Migueres introduced the youngest children to different textile materials, such as wool or silk.
  • The children were then able to create and decorate their own portrait or costume, which they were then able to take home with them.
