Cinema buffs and adventure enthusiasts from the North Shore will have the unique opportunity to delve into the heart of Egypt thanks to Timeless Egypt, a new film presented by Les Aventuriers Voyageurs. This work, created by the passionate globetrotter Josée, promises to reveal the secrets and magic of a country full of myths.

Starting January 14, the film will be screened in the Ciné-Centre cinemas in Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles, then at the Shed-à-Morue in Havre-Saint-Pierre on January 21.

This documentary invites viewers on a journey beyond traditional postcards, revealing an Egypt rich in contrasts, where majestic pyramids rub shoulders with the bustle of the souks and the serenity of the Nile.

Throughout this documentary, viewers will explore the timeless splendors of the pharaonic temples, the mystery of the desert and the bustling life of big cities like Cairo and Alexandria.

Josée, the director, also offers a human and intimate look at local culture, thanks to touching encounters with warm Egyptians.

An inspiring director

Josée, originally from Montreal, is no stranger to adventure. From her teenage years, she organized group trips before increasing the number of stays abroad, whether as part of university exchanges in England or projects in Lebanon.

With more than 30 countries explored, she now shares her love of the world through a first film full of emotions and discoveries.
