Less than two weeks before the New Year, we’re heading towards 2025 where a slew of concerts will punctuate the year. That promises.
Jorja Smith and Chilly Gonzales at the Hyper Weekend Festival – Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, January 24 to 26
This year, the fourth edition of the event led by Didier Varrod – musical director of the Radio France branches – will be punctuated by concerts by emerging and established artists, as well as new musical creations. Unmissable events of the festival: the appearances of Jorja Smith and Chilly Gonzales on the stage of the auditorium of the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique. The first will be accompanied by the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the second will be alongside several young rappers and a chamber orchestra, for a musical proposal entitled “Chamber rap”.
Les Inrocks Festival with The Voidz – Centquatre-Paris, March 4 to 8
Like last year, Les Inrocks Festival returns to the Centquatre-Paris for a 36th edition which already promises to be unmissable with The Voidz, who have not played in France since 2018. An event concert to open the festival in the capital, Wednesday March 5, for the other group (with The Strokes) of the charismatic Julian Casablancas, whose third album, Like All Before You (2024), released last fall, is conceived as a postmodern mini-opera full of unstoppable oblique pop songs.
Oklou – La Cigale, March 4 and 5, and Trianon, March 13
On February 7, 2025, Oklou will unveil his new album Choke Enough. A highly anticipated cake that comes four years after the mixtape Galore published in 2020. The singer-songwriter, a figure of the French alternative scene, will therefore come to defend her new songs – four of which are already being listened to – during three concerts which include two dates at La Cigale and one at the Trianon. We hope to find you in a trance, crossed by its sounds flirting with hyperpop, clubs and ambient.
Clara Luciani – Accor Arena, March 6 and 7
After an Olympia on December 17, it is at the Accor Arena that Clara Luciani will deploy her disco-fueled pop. A massive room in which the singer will perform, among other things, the new pieces which constitute My blood, an intimate album released in November.
Clairo – Salle Pleyel, March 7 and 8
Charm, Clairo’s third album released this year, is a pure marvel: his Music was even described as “highly addictive”. It is therefore quite natural that his two Parisian concerts at the Salle Pleyel have their place in this list of live performances not to be missed in 2025. If you like soft rock, pop, soul, analog synthesizers and whispered texts , then you will be charmed.
Air – Salle Pleyel, March 25 to 28
Air is indeed back on stage. In 2024, the emblematic French Touch duo, formed by Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin, began a European and North American tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their cult album, Moon Safari. It seems that this is not going to stop any time soon. After having ignited the French public during the Terminal 1 evening on the roof of Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport then during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games – where they were joined by Gordon Tracks, aka Thomas Mars, to play Playground Love –, the two astronauts will take over the Salle Pleyel for four dates. Not to be missed!
Kompromat – Olympia, April 2, and Zénith, November 5
Some time ago, the duo formed by Rebeka Warrior and Vitalic made their comeback with the single I Let Myself Go Blind, five years after his album Dream and existence. A French tour was announced immediately. Victim of its success, the ticket office quickly broke down, and many venues are already sold out, including the Olympia scheduled for April 2, 2025. Kompromat has therefore just added an additional concert on November 5 at the Zenith of Paris. Tickets are still on sale, but you’ll have to hurry to get the chance to dance to their electrifying live performance.
Tyler, The Creator – Accor Arena, 27 et 28 avril
A few months after the release of witches, first extract from an eighth album to be released at the end of the month, Tyler, The Creator announces a date in France. The Californian rapper will perform at the Accor Arena on April 27, 2025. The opportunity to discover live the songs that will appear in Chromakopiahis new album to be released, as well as his greatest hits (from See You Again has Earfquakepassing through Best Interest).
We Love Green with Charli XCX – Bois de Vincennes, June 6 to 8
For its 2025 edition, We Love Green sees things big and is preparing to receive “the punkest of pop stars” : Charli XCX. A headliner that the festival team refers to as the “very symbol of a Brat generation which makes us thirst for freedom and hyper-creativity”. Bratthe title of his album which became a real cultural phenomenon this summer. The Briton will therefore come to perform the titles of her record in front of the Ile-de-France public for this special and unique date in France.
Billie Eilish – Accor Arena, June 10 and 11
His third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, made a place for itself in our top 10 of the best records of the year 2024. A success which was illustrated well beyond the writing of the Inrocks, since Billie Eilish dominated the world charts this summer, just with her hit Birds of a Feather, taken from the album in question. It is at the Accor Arena that she will come to demonstrate her talent, in front of a French public who must be waiting for her.
Weezer – Zénith Paris – La Villette, July 6
To celebrate 30 years of their timeless Blue Album, Weezer embarked on a tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. For our greatest pleasure, Rivers Cuomo’s group will stop at the Zénith in Paris for a unique date. After more than fifteen studio albums and countless concerts, these guitar riff professionals are unmissable headliners.
Chappell Roan at Rock en Seine – Domaine de Saint-Cloud, from August 20 to 24
There is no doubt that this 21st edition of Rock en Seine has everything to surpass the previous one. And for good reason: it is Chappell Roan who will open the festivities with an exceptional concert in the heart of the Saint-Cloud estate on August 20 – its only date in France. The opportunity to listen live to the pieces that constitute The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, the album that propelled her to the top of the charts with the single (which became a hit) Good Luck, Babe!.
Zaho de Sagazan – Olympia, September 3 to 6, 10 to 12 and 14 to 16
Returning the Olympia ten times in just three weeks is the feat that Zaho de Sagazan is preparing to achieve with flying colors. You could even call it a residence. The one who made us vibrate with her Symphony of Lightning – increased this year with The Last of the Journeys – has not finished making us dream live. On the program? Ten evenings of pure poetry, sharing and emotions to the rhythm of his electronic flashes.
Malik Djoudi – Olympia, November 21
His fourth album, Vivant, had marked the start of the school year, before becoming the best French album of the year 2024. Alive, there is no doubt that Malik Djoudi will be alive on the Olympia stage for an already unmissable concert, exactly one year after toppling La Cigale. “To be alive is to live without exhausting yourself with eternal questions, without that damn bike in your head”, he slipped into our columns. Nice coincidence of the calendar, Malik Djoudi’s first Olympia falls on a Friday. Why isn’t every day Friday?
La Femme – Accor Arena, 26 November
Change of scale for The Woman. Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got are thinking big and will perform at the Accor Arena at the end of next year. An evening during which they will undoubtedly draw on their greatest hits, from Psycho Tropical Berlin (2013) to Paradigms (2021) via Mystery (2016) – without forgetting their last album in English, Rock Machine (2024).
