Aaron Taylor-Johnson needs to remember not to take his roles home.
The 34-year-old actor admitted he was doing his best to shed the darker characters he plays before returning home to wife Sam Taylor-Johnson and their daughters Wylda Rae, 14, and Romy Hero, 12 years old.
On Brittany Broski's YouTube show “Royal Court,” Aaron revealed that he has to make a conscious effort to separate work from his personal life.
He explained: “You're trying to shed a skin, or actually, an aura around you. And you can sort of convince yourself that there isn't one, but I find that some people are really sensitive to this feeling.”
The actor, however, admitted that he prepares seriously when he takes on a new role.
He said: “It really depends. I like to find the good and bad habits of this character, and live in that routine and that pattern… or listen to certain music associated with that era. It's about things multiple, because you also change your face, your hair, your clothes or your outfit, so that eventually it becomes second nature and ideally you are already in the shoes of that character when you enter the set You can not only change your voice, but also the way you speak. to move, to walk.”
