Rather reserved when it comes to his private life, the presenter reveals very little but, on his Instagram account, we can discover a few snippets of his refuge, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris. This is certainly where he will quietly celebrate his birthday, surrounded by the people he loves. Internet users are familiar with a particular corner of his property, it is his very vast garden where flowers, trees and different plants can grow in complete peace and quiet. Damien Thévenot has so far never revealed the interior of his home. But in 2015, for House side, he provided some details. “With the fireplace, the sofa in taupe tones and the cream walls, the atmosphere is very cozy. It is therefore conducive to reading, rest, friendship, an aperitif… The atmosphere is always very fragrant with vanilla, cinnamon and coconut fragrances. Overall, it's a zen interior but with few objects in a subtle dosage“.
And for him to say more about his decoration: “It's a mix of genres with a predominance of contemporary furniture, but absolutely not ultra design: sober and refined lines. For the living room, we opted for a large two-meter glass designer table, with chrome legs. The transparency of the glass avoids breaking up the space. And to prioritize seating: very comfortable wooden chairs. Here and there, a few objects found at second-hand dealers and garage sales… Touches of color are provided by cushions or curtains that we change often.
It is impossible to know who he includes in the “we” he pronounces at that time but the same year, for TV Starhe revealed that he was in a relationship. “I'm settled, as they say, but I don't have any children yet. With whom ? I won't answer…” he confided.
