The third edition of the Uzès festival alone on stage will take place on May 7, 8, 9 and 10. The ticket office is already open. “If there is a third edition it is because the first two went very well. The objective is always for it to become an annual and long-term event”announces Patrick Timsit, artistic director of the festival.

“There are things that we will work on from year to year: exporting a little to Uzès outside of Ombrière, it could be the stud farms, the arenas, contacting more youth.

“ I am the spokesperson for an idea “

We're not being politically correct but I realized in the end that there are as many women as men. It made me happy because it was a parity that was not done to respect politeness. From edition to edition we will work further upstream because we realize that we are short of time. Now I am no longer the event, I am the spokesperson for an idea.”

Nora Hamzaoui will open the ball on Wednesday May 7 at 9 p.m., “she has a very contemporary standup tone”. Andréa Bescond, Thursday May 8 at 3 p.m. will present The ticklesa dance show about pedophilia “it's not unbearable, but there are a lot of emotions”at 6 p.m. Constance returns with her sixth show Inconstancyand the day will end at 9 p.m. with Alex Vizorek's show where he does a medley of his last two shows.

Friday May 9 at 11 a.m., Coline Serreau will tell The beautiful storywhich is a formidably effective spectacle of drollery”at 6 p.m., Thierry Lhermitte will present a surprise show and at 9 p.m., Marine Léonardi will present her show Bad seed.

Saturday May 10 at 11 a.m., there will be a surprise meeting with an actor, an actress, a director, and a director, and at 7 p.m., Manu Payet will come with his new show Emmanuel 2 and to end the festival, Michel Jonasz will perform his show Pianovoix accompanied by the talented pianist Jean-Yves d'Angelo.

“The comedy club will return to a comedy club. This year we haven’t found the place but we will find one that corresponds to the spirit of the comedy club”confides the artistic director.
