In At the heart of creationMelody Gardot shares her incredible journey of resilience. Victim of a serious accident in 2003, she found true therapy and a path to healing in music. “The guitar was a way of learning to speak again,” she confides, evoking thea music therapy that helped her regain her cognitive abilities.

Today, she can be proud to celebrate her 15th career. But the artist nevertheless made a surprising confidence to Xavier de Moulins: “I never wanted to be famous. I never wanted to see my name anywhere.”

Finally, she admits, to do this job, “you have to tend towards madness. You have to allow yourself to get lost in ideas, forget that you have to eat to do this job that will obsess you until 3 a.m..”
