The promise did not keep for long: a week after ensuring that the show Don’t touch my post would continue to be broadcast despite the shutdown of C8 (set by Arcom for February 27, 2025), Cyril Hanouna has just announced to his teams that this would ultimately not be the case, reports Le Parisien.

Worse – at least, for its fans – the recently considered option of a “transfer” of TPMP to CStar (a channel of the Canal+ group like C8) would no longer be relevant!

A return in September 2025?

But all is not lost, according to the testimony – anonymous – of a member of the team relayed by Le Parisien: Cyril Hanouna “told us that the show would return in September 2025, but without specifying where”. It could be on another Canal group channel, on a new digital platform… or elsewhere!

“Everything seems to be on the table”, specifies the witness, who whispers that TPMP could, this Thursday, December 19, 2024, take the form of a “special broadcast” during which the future of the program.

Wednesday December 18, 2024, Cyril Hanouna joined a demonstration (in front of Arcom) against the closure of C8 and assured that he was “fighting” for TPMP to continue. “We will continue to do the show until the end of February,” he promised. And as I said, we are working on other avenues for later.”
