In the field of materials and plastic arts accessoriesgraphics and other creative techniques, the company Dalbe is a big machine.
Founded in Paris in 1974, it now has 128 stores in France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Dalbe: a 9,000 m² logistics site near Alençon
And it is from Lonrai, near Alençon (Orne), that all the supplies leave, the Ornese commune welcoming thesingle distribution platform of the cooperative, the first network specializing in artistic supplies and materials fine arts, drawing, creative hobbies and coachingwith its 98 members.
The latter chose to establish the network’s logistics platform in Lonrai in 2003 for its strategic location, 2 hours from Paris and at the intersection of the Rennes/Paris and Rouen/Tours routes.
Since then, the 9,000 m² site completed two extensions and tripled its workforce.
From pencils to framing boards, paint and stencils, the platform hosts more than 31,000 product references, including more than 4,000 references under the Dalbe brand.
The brand stands out for the quality of its products, mainly made in France or within the European Union.

Locally, it is possible to buy and order artistic products from the Dalbe network from the Le Passage bookstorelocated in the city center of Alençon.
Frank Louche also develops partnerships with the local artistic and cultural world.
Every year, Dalbe is a partner of the L’Art sur le Fil event and the Painters’ Weekend, in Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei.
He is also committed to schools and training centersfor example with students from the IUT of Alençon and the BUT Logistics and Transport Management training, for which Dalbe is currently welcoming an intern.
