• Gillie, after two consecutive podiums, you have your first victory on the Tour Romand R circuit!
  I am delighted and very happy to have finished the season on top. It wasn’t particularly a goal, but it’s clear that I favor these events, because they are ideal for regional riders. The victory happened somewhat by itself, without any particular strategy or tactics. We started the season very well and, little by little, the chances of a podium began to take shape. At one point, I even had a big lead (nearly 100 pts after Fenin, editor’s note) and everyone was talking to me about it. So I thought maybe I could aim for that pretty cherry on the cake. I had a less good end to the season, it was difficult to conclude, but…
