The dark days of the pandemic are a distant memory for the entertainment industry. Thanks to Taylor Swift and Coldplay, tours of the world’s biggest artists have generated phenomenal revenues of nearly US$10 billion in 2024, according to figures revealed by the magazine Pollstar.
More precisely, the 100 biggest international tours raised 9.5 billion, a result up 3.62% compared to 2023, when the counter stopped at 9.2 billion.
According to Pollstarthis is the first time in history that revenues have exceeded the 9 billion mark for two consecutive years.
