Miss Lorraine’s “Marvel” outfit sparks reactions on social networks

The election of Miss France 2025 took place this Saturday December 14, 2024. Broadcast live on TF1the evening saw the coronation of Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique.

Like every year, the candidates paraded in regional costume. One year after the famous table-shaped dress, Miss Lorraine’s outfit has once again provoked reactions on social networks.

Miss Lorraine compared to a Marvel heroine

During the table with regional outfits, Assia Roosz-Tomenti, Miss Lorraine 2024, presented herself with a futuristic outfit: a combination white and emerald accompanied by a longue cape very colorful and helmet.

As its creator explained, this costume referenced an emblematic monument of the region: Metz Cathedral and its stained glass windows, and also in Graoully.

But Internet users saw other references: Avengers from the franchise Marvel, THE Power Rangers, and even Toy Story.

Miss Lorraine finishes in the top 15

References not really surprising since the creator of this outfit, Wesley ForstingerEast cinema costume designer. “I worked for Marvel, Capcom, Netflix, etc. I am specializing in all things superheroscience fiction costumes,” he explains.

During the evening, Assia Roosz-Tomenti has been selected among the 15 finalists. Unfortunately, the young 25-year-old Lorraine did not receive the votes of viewers to be one of the last five candidates.
