Anne Hathaway dreams of starring in a Christmas movie

Anne Hathaway has headlined dramas, romantic comedies, blockbusters, independent films, a musical… But on her bucket list there is still a genre that the actress is “desperately” waiting to try her hand at , as she confided to Women’s Wear Dailyon December 6.

“I haven’t made a great Christmas film,” regrets Anne Hathaway. I know it’s weird to have this on a bucket list, but I definitely want to make a Christmas movie,” she explained. “An actor’s career can take very different paths, and I am very, very, very aware of that,” she assured. And I’m really surprised that this is the version I’m experiencing.” Evoking other of her wishes, the 42-year-old actress admitted to wanting to film under the cameras ofEmma Seligman et Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Anne Hathaway to reprise two of her iconic roles

Even if she “can’t say anything” at the moment, Anne Hathaway will soon put on two of her legendary costumes. The actress will reprise her role as Mia Thermopolisflagship character of the franchise Princess in spite of herself, adapted from bestselling novels The Princess Diary of And Cabot. The third part will be directed by Adele Lim (screenwriter of the films Raya and the Last Dragon or even Crazy Rich Asians). Just like Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt have reportedly agreed to reprise their characters. The film will be produced by Disney Studios, announced the media Puck. For the moment, nothing has been officially confirmed, but Anne Hathaway slipped, still with the Women’s Wear Dailythat the productions of the two films would be launched as soon as possible.
