Ridley Scott recently hinted that the star of the second installment of GladiatorPaul Mescal, certainly couldn’t join him again for his next film, The Dog Starsdue to another project in the actor’s schedule: Sam Mendes’ Beatles biopics!
“Paul is preparing for the (biopics about) Beatles shortly. So I may have to let him go,” Ridley Scott said after a screening of Gladiator II at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Some rumors suggest that the 28-year-old actor will play Paul McCartney, while Barry Keoghan is tipped to play Ringo Starr.
