Monday, December 9, Katie Holmes denied on X a rumor according to which her daughter Suri, whom she had with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, was going to benefit from a trust fund of one million dollars.

The 45-year-old “Dawson” star called the allegation “completely false,” adding, “Stop making things up…. Enough is enough!”

His reaction, however, sparked an outcry from some fans. One of them attacked her for her privileged view of life and encouraged her to be more grounded.

“My God, the difficulties you are experiencing! Wondering if you will be able to pay your rent AND eat this month? No? Yes, me neither… I wish these problems were mine. I understand, I don’t blame you for being famous and working hard to earn money. I know you work hard and problems are problems no matter who you are. I can only assume that you are a great mother. And everyone can see it. But you have to have an overview,” insisted the disgruntled internet user.

And, harshly, he reminds us that not everything is equal: “An article in a rag, while there are mothers in certain parts of the world who hope that their daughters will just survive the day… He We must therefore take a step back.

Katie Holmes was not indifferent to this argument, but she put forward her own, which is not lacking in relevance: she fears that this type of “revelations” could bring dangers to her daughter. “I don’t disagree. But in today’s world, I don’t want a target on my child’s back. It’s dangerous,” wrote Suri Cruise’s mother.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were married from 2006 to 2012 and their daughter, Suri, was born on April 18, 2006 and is currently attending college.
