Perfectly respecting the dress code for an event of this magnitude, David Beckham wore a tailcoat and satin white bow tie. For her part, the former Spice Girl only had to draw from her own brand. Posh Spice made her appearance wearing a tight black dress with long sleeves, draped at the waist. A refined model from its latest collection, still available for sale.

The Beckhams, loyal to the Crown
The presence of the Beckham couple at the state banquet is not so surprising since the former footballer played ambassadors for the World Cup to be held in Qatar in 2022. He also joined the King’s Foundation in June last and invested alongside the sovereign in the preservation of bees. If David and Victoria Beckham had already attended royal events in the past, such as the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011, then that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018, they had never before been invited to a banquet of state.
21 years ago, it was in this same Buckingham Palace that the footballer received his badge of Officer of the Order of the British Empire from Elizabeth II in 2003. A queen he loved very much. particularly, to the point of queuing for long hours to pay tribute to him in Westminster in 2022, following his death.
