Here we are at the gates of six days (from July 3 to 8) where Marie Cantagrill comes to offer us at Mas-d’Azil, a musical offer of excellence. There are more than 40 candidates including 21 who will compete in the excellence category who have registered for this new edition. They come from South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovenia, Venezuela and of course France.
The program
Mas d’Azil town hall function room. Free entry, events open to the public.
Wednesday July 3: Opening night. 5 p.m.: violin academy, validation of acquired skills. Presentation of the competition (videos and archive images, violin makers, pianists and jury).
Thursday July 4: From 2 p.m.: beginners’, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycle events. 6:45 p.m.: awards ceremony, drawing of lots for the order of passage of the excellence candidates. Cocktail offered by the town hall.
Friday July 5 (2 p.m.), Saturday July 6 (2 p.m.), Sunday July 7 (1:45 p.m.) : Excellence category events.
Saturday (6:30 p.m.), Sunday (6:30 p.m.): conference-meeting with Luthiers and Bow Makers.
Sunday at 8:30 p.m.: award ceremony for excellence. Closing cocktail.

Monday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m.: concert of the winners. The young people awarded prizes by the jury will be accompanied by the Ariège Chamber Orchestra, under the musical direction of Marie Cantagrill.
Prices: €20, €12 for members and young people aged 13 to 18, free for children aged 12 and under.
