In BrittanyQuimper will beat to the rhythm of Telethon Friday November 29 and Saturday November 30, 2024. The City is in fact one of the four ambassador cities.
As such, it is working hard by widely mobilizing the associative fabric and organizing multiple challenges. Moreover, France Televisions will set up its cameras for a live broadcast on Saturday November 30 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Disruptions from Wednesday
The Telethon will therefore disrupt traffic and parking from Wednesday November 27: it will be prohibited to park and drive Place Saint Corentin and rue Gradlon, from Wednesday, November 27, 8 a.m. until Sunday, November 1is December at 6 p.m.
In addition, the parking ban will be extended from Thursday November 28 at 9 a.m. until Sunday November 1is December at 1 a.m.:
- rue Verdelet,
- rue de la Mairie,
- Toul-Al-Laer Street,
- Toul-Al-Laer square
The parking and driving ban zone will extend on Saturday, November 30 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. boulevard de Kerguelenfrom rue Juniville to rue Gradlon.
Bag searches
Access to Parc de la Glacière will be closed on Friday November 29 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. as well as the following streets:
- alley of the Glacière,
- rue de Providence (part between rue du Chapeau rouge and 29 rue de la Providence),
- rue du Chapeau-Rouge,
- like Terre-au-Duc,
- rue René-Madec,
- rue Saint-François,
- rue des Boucheries
- rue Verdelet
Finally, the town hall specifies that “checkpoints and bag searches will be set up around the event for all access to Place Saint-Corentin. Access for local residents will be preserved in accordance with accessibility rules. »
