Jean-Paul Laramée welcomes the winners of theAlfred-Cortot Paris Normal School of Musicfor three concerts this summer. How have these concerts gradually come together over the past ten years?

Thanks to Devy Erlih, one of the greatest violinists of the second half of the 20th century and who ends his life.

as professor of violin and chamber music at the École Normale de Musique de Paris-Alfred.

Cortot, a private rival of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. A lover of Perche, he created these concerts, for which he was the musical director from 2008 until his death in February 2012. His “favorite disciple”, Michaël Seigle, took over immediately.

The links between the Cortot School and Perche have been strengthened since last year, thanks in particular to agreements made with Mortagne Patrimoine, to organize concerts in the Notre-Dame church and the Saint-François-de l’Hôpital chapel, concerts reserved for graduates of the School.
