What does the Festival de la Cité have planned if the weather continues to disrupt us?

“Because it is less hot, the storms should be less violent this week. But if, during the six days of the festival, our 3pm weather report indicates a worrying development for the evening, we will not hesitate to move the most exposed events or to cancel them.”

Martine Chalverat, director of the Festival de la Cité, is still smiling, despite this summer that is not ready to start. According to her, a few drops of rain will not dissuade the crowd from gathering, from Tuesday to Sunday, in front of the 177 circus, dance, theater and music performances from 33 countries and concentrated around the cathedral, with excursions to the lakeside, to the orchards of the Hermitage or to the Tridel factory for the afters.
