It was almost 27 years ago… On August 31, 1997, at only 36 years old, Lady Diana lost her life in a terrible road accident in Paris. Monday July 1, 2024, it was when she would have been 63 that Sarah Ferguson, to whom she was very close, had a moving thought for her. On Instagram, she shared a photo where the two young women are on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on the occasion of Trooping the Color.

“Happy birthday to my dear friend Diana. You were a pillar of light and love. And what legacy you leave behind. I will always remember our laughter and the kind spirit I found in you. I’m sure you’re still watching over us. Rest in peace my friend”she wrote with emotion.
