In the prime time access program launched in 2014, Philippe Etchebest traveled the roads of France and set off to meet apprentice cooks and amateur cooks in order to taste their favorite dish. For several weeks, the best among them competed to win a place in the next season of Top Chef.
Due to a busy schedule, Philippe Etchebest had already reduced his presence on the air during last season. Juan Arbelaez and Joann Conte went in his place to meet the candidates and he subsequently selected them blindly.
In ten years, Top Chef objective has allowed several chefs to get noticed. We are thinking in particular of Xavier Koenig, winner of the first edition who won the sixth season of Top Chef.
