Head to the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris. Known for its collection of timeless monochrome pieces in a seventiesthe committed brand Patine – which has been campaigning for responsible fashion for seven years by focusing on the pre-order model – is opening a pop-up boutique in the Center Commercial concept store located at 2, rue de Marseille (Paris Xe).

The Parisian fashion brand founded by designer Charlotte Dereux will be setting up shop from June 18 to July 14 in the hybrid multi-brand launched in 2010 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion (also at the helm of the Veja shoe brand), at alongside French brands like Etudes, Paraboot, Venturon and Roseanna or even the Californian Patagonia.​

“We dressed up the shopping center window, with a touch of humor, and we are in residence all summer in their store as well as on their website,” smiles the founder and CEO of the brand. To highlight our collection we recreated the atmosphere of a cozy living room with a clothes rack, a chest of drawers, a cathode ray television which broadcasts photos of the Patine team in a loop as well as an old vintage telephone with headphones for listening to messages of love from our customers”, confides Charlotte Dereux.

The digital native certified B Corp and “Business with a mission”, which often calls on its community through co-creation in particular, triples the stakes in the French capital with this summer pop-up, in addition to its corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann (its historic retailer in France) and its own store which opened in June 2023 at number 8 rue Martel (10th arr.).

In his collection: casual pieces like t-shirts, denim shirts, “Brenda” jeans and sweatshirts oversizeits bright red “Power stretch” feminine capsule with a tight fit, as well as a unisex fashion collection inspired by the nineties style launching in fall 2022. “We create clothes feel-good and endearing, designed with the idea of ​​creating attachment and keeping them as long as possible”, such is the leitmotif of the thirty-year-old entrepreneur, graduated from the ESSEC business school and Cours Florent.

To mark its arrival at Centre Commercial, Patine has created a special limited edition capsule, including the “Willie” t-shirt (its flagship product sold at 70 euros). Available in unisex, this top ranging from XS to XXL (with a thick 180 gram weight) is made in Portugal from organic cotton and recycled cotton and features a red drawing on the back of a mischievous rabbit on tour like a rock star, the “Patine World Tour”.

The ambitious Patine – which closed a fundraising of 600,000 euros in March 2022 – has surfed on a growth of 40% in 2023 and confides to reopen its capital and to carry out a new fundraising in the months to come, to finance its development and “accelerate on the innovation and research and development part”.
