Dimitri Rassam, the producer of the recent adaptation of Three Musketeersin two parts, decided to give an answer by announcing that it will produce the adaptation of Twenty years later by Alexandre Dumas, the continuation of the adventures of d’Artagnan and his friends.
The producer of the Three Musketeers by Martin Bourboulon and the Count of Monte-Cristocurrently showing, by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, slipped this good news onto France Info on Sunday June 30, declaring: “We are working on it. I think Twenty years later, Alexandre Dumas’ second novel is absolutely extraordinary. So that’s always been the ambition.” The good attendance results in the theaters of the first two parts of the Three Musketeers (more than 6 million entries) as well as the excellent reviews and the good start (300,000 entries in two days) of the Count of Monte-Cristo must certainly have pushed Dimitri Rassam, who is the son of Carole Bouquet, to give the media this scoop.
