“You managed to get away from drugs,” said Gilles Verdez, a question to which Loana replied: “I stopped everything,” before confiding further. “It’s hard. We’re not going to say that it happens in a month. For a few months, no one saw me. I had to get back into shape. We tell ourselves that this is not necessary. So, we put that aside. We have the doggie in our arms. We sweat and have anxiety attacks. And then, there is mom who comes and stays next to you to sleep with you. It’s a long journey,” she explained, illustrating her courage and determination.
