For this musical evening, Benjamin Revel, will transform his restaurant La Musardière, in Giverny (Eure) into free concert hall : “By pushing the tables, we can hold a hundred. We will offer a street food dish for 9 euros, to be eaten standing up. The idea is to share a moment of conviviality. » At the bar, beers and soft drinks will be offered from 3 euros.

Make the village more colorful and joyful

Florent Vintrigner, member of Rue Kétanou, who lives in the town, will sing accompanying himself on the accordion, banjo and harmonica, with a saxophonist friend.

The repertoire remains faithful to the spirit of street song. One of them, fittingly, is called Le Beaujolais. Others revolve around more contemporary themes such as asylum seekers. “It’s about life, about people who suffer and who are committed. There is a point of view. »

“I discovered the group La Rue Kétanou a few years ago at the Fête de l’Huma in ,” Benjamin remembers.

“Florent comes from time to time to eat here as a neighbor. When I suggested that we do a little concert at La Musardière, he was immediately up for it. The idea is to bring the village to life during the winter, to make it a little more colorful and joyful. »
