The La Fleurantine harmony invites the public to its annual Sainte-Cécile concert which will take place Saturday, November 23, in Fleurance.
The Sainte-Cécile de l’harmonie La Fleurantine concert will take place on Saturday November 23, at 6 p.m., in the Saint-Laurent church in Fleurance. This free entry concert promises to be a unique musical moment, in an ideal setting to appreciate the rich and deep sounds of the orchestra.
Under the direction of Vincent Blesz, 60 amateur musicians will perform to interpret a program mixing great classics and modern works: we will be able to hear “Second Suite for military band” by Gustave Holst, “Nessun Dorma” by Giacomo Puccini, “Imagasy” by Thiemo Kraas, “Sogno di Volare” by Christopher Tin, “The Last of the Mohicans” by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman, “Man of honor” by Thomas Bergersen and “The Phantom of the opera” by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
This event, like the band’s other concerts, is an opportunity for music lovers of all ages to share a moment of emotion and musical beauty in the heart of Fleurance. These concerts captivate the public on every occasion with their interpretations, but also with their presentations full of humor and cheerfulness.
The concert calendar of the harmony
The next dates of the La Fleurantine harmony have already been decided: Sunday January 12, at 3 p.m., at the cultural and sports space of Fleurance, with, in the first part, the Sud-Gironde orchestra of Bazas; Saturday April 5, concert in Quint-Fonsegrives (Haute-Garonne); Thursday May 8, concert at the church of Saint-Sardos (Tarn-et-Garonne); Saturday May 23, at 9 p.m., Mother’s Day concert, at the Fleurance cultural and sports space; Saturday June 21, as part of the music festival, concert on the square in front of the Saint-Laurent church in Fleurance.
