“Here it all begins” Summary of the episode of November 22, 2024

Alice fully embraces her singularity

Alice meets Gaspard in the park of the Auguste Armand Institute. She tells him that he was right to tell her to remain herself during her interview with Chef Teyssier, then she adds that she has decided to accept herself as she is. The young man is delighted and explains to him that his brother has also made the decision to embrace his uniqueness. Alice takes note of Gaspard’s remarks.

A few hours later, Alice decides to completely reorganize her stash. She informs Hortense and Stanislas that she has decided to take full responsibility for herself. Her two colleagues suggest that she celebrate with a drink, but she replies that she doesn’t have time, because she has a long list of things to respect in order to accept her uniqueness. Later, Alice informs Antoine that she wants to change the schedule so that Joachim’s scheduled repairs can be carried out outside of his classes because it makes too much noise, but he refuses the “whims” of the teacher. Teyssier watches the scene with amusement.

In the afternoon, Hortense and Stanislas have coffee in the park, while Alice is still immersed in her notes. Suddenly, she informs her colleagues that she wants to lose her virginity: “I take notes on the men around me”. Hortense is happy for her friend, while Stanislas is extremely uncomfortable.

Jim and Carla are unmasked

Carla and Bérénice meet Rose at the café. The latter doesn’t have time to stay for a drink, but the two young women do everything to keep her attention. Bérénice makes Rose believe that she has lost her earring, then she asks her to look for it with her. Carla takes the opportunity to search her mother’s phone and sends a message to Marc to meet him at the coffee shop this afternoon.

Back at the Auguste Armand Institute, Carla meets Jim to discuss their plan. Unfortunately, they realize that they did not send the correct addresses to each other. Carla prefers not to get involved so as not to make things worse. A few minutes later, they discover Rose and Marc arguing in the park. The two students feel guilty for having ruined everything.

Just after their argument, Rose and Marc meet up for coffee. They actually know about their children’s plan and are having fun with it. Rose says to Marc: “I still can’t believe they’re trying to stick us together. It’s absurd, we’re friends”. But ultimately, they look at each other intently and seem closer than ever. The director of Master takes the opportunity to make Marc taste her latest culinary preparation, and the latter makes some constructive remarks. Rose responds: “You see I still need a teacher.”

Anaïs totally loses control

In the early morning, Constance informs Anaïs that she is aware of her illness. The young woman cannot deny the truth. Constance strongly advises her to warn Teyssier so that he can postpone the tasting with the great chefs, but Anaïs replies:
“No, I can’t afford to lose my job and my reputation. I have to keep working on this menu, otherwise no one will want to work with me.”

A few minutes later, Anaïs informs her brigade that she has made small changes to the menu. The clerks realize that these are important changes and that they may run out of time. Anaïs reassures them by telling them that she made good progress last night and therefore did not sleep. The young woman gets busy in the kitchen, but very quickly, the metallic noises become unbearable, and she orders her brigade to go out. Once alone, she swallows two drug pills.

Ultimately, Anaïs does all the preparations alone. At the same time, Sam arrives in the kitchen and forces her to withdraw her complaint against him, but under the influence of drugs, Anaïs pushes him into the cold room and locks him up. Later, Constance and Milan join the young woman in the kitchen. They hear a noise coming from the cold room and discover Sam inside, hypothermic, his pulse and blood pressure are very weak. Faced with the situation, Anaïs feels uneasy.

For his part, Teyssier welcomes the chefs he has invited. He informs all these beautiful people that Anaïs has surpassed herself. Suddenly, Antoine arrives in the room and informs Teyssier that Anaïs is not well. While Sam is rushed to the hospital, Anaïs is in the infirmary. Vic and Enzo wonder about their friend. Jude takes the opportunity to inform them that she has a degenerative ear disease.

In the infirmary, Anaïs apologizes to Milan for taking drugs, and she admits to her boyfriend that she lost her mind because her pain had become unmanageable. Suddenly, Emmanuel Teyssier also arrives and drops a metal tray to the ground. Anaïs no longer hears anything, neither Milan nor the director. She said to them with a frightened look: “I’m deaf! “.
