The 22nd edition of the “L’Boulevard” music festival, dedicated to urban culture, will be held from September 12 to 15 at the RUC stadium in Casablanca, announced the EAC-L’BOULVART association, organizer of the event. .
The festivities will include exclusive concerts, an associative and creative market and various activities, without forgetting the iconic musical competition Tremplin L’Boulevard for which a call for applications is now launched, indicates a press release from the organizers.
Intended for Moroccan artists and groups or those established in Morocco, this competition covers three categories: rap/hip hop, rock/metal and fusion/other current music, the same source adds, specifying that interested groups are invited to submit their applications on the festival website, before July 7.
The selected candidates will have the opportunity to perform on the L’Boulevard stage, with a six-day technical and artistic training for the six winning groups (two per category), explains the press release, adding that the 1st The prize in each category is worth 10,000 DH, while all winners will benefit from the recording of a piece in a professional studio.
Each year, L’Boulevard receives around 300 demos of all styles, submitted for evaluation by a jury. Since its inauguration in 1999, nearly 620 young groups have had the opportunity to perform on the L’Boulevard stage.
