Taulier's widow was admitted to Ho Chi Minh hospital in Vietnam on November 11 while staying in the country as part of a humanitarian trip.
The information first came out in the celebrity press, then relayed by more serious media including Paris Match : on November 11, Johnny Hallyday's widow was rushed to hospital during her trip to Vietnam. Landing in the Southeast Asian country at the beginning of November, Laeticia Hallyday went there as part of a humanitarian trip to support the “La Bonne Étoile” association, created with chef Hélène Darroze to come to help for disadvantaged children. However, Laeticia Hallyday, aged 49, would then have suffered from high fevers and lower back pain, forcing her to make a detour to the Ho Chi Minh hospital.
The growing rumor
However, the reasons for his hospitalization remain unclear, and some information circulating in the media is believed to be false. We read in particular that she was transported to the care unit for pyelonephritis, a serious kidney infection. However, it would only be a mild infection; the mother of Jade and Joy (20 and 16 years old) having actually left with antibiotics and is now back on her feet.
President of the “La Bonne Étoile” association since its creation in 2012, she had shared several videos on her Instagram account of her stay in the country, notably in Hanoi, her “eternal favorite”. “This city is an emotion, a source of inspiration, a part of me,” she wrote again. “For 20 years, Hanoi has continued to upset me. Because every street corner, every scent that escapes from the street food stalls, every smile exchanged with the locals… Hanoi has a soul that nothing and no one can imitate.” Sequences show her tasting typical dishes, riding a scooter or strolling through the narrow streets of the city.
Although Vietnam is the country of birth of her adopted daughters, Jade and Joy, it has been several years since Laeticia Hallyday had been there. She will thus remember this comeback, between unforgettable encounters and health problems.
