The first concert will take place on Saturday July 20 with “Traditionnel Allemand et Beatbox”. Between traditional Indian singing and beatboxing, Parveen Sabrina and her brother Ilyas Raphaël Khan form an extraordinary duo. They renew the interpretation of an ancestral repertoire of which they are the heirs. Franco-Indian artists, they are the children of the famous percussionist Hameed Khan Kawa (Musafir, Jaipur Kawa Brass Band, Kawa Circus).

With the strength of their two cultures, they transport the audience into a world of varied and innovative sounds and offer a delicious blend of Indian music and Western rhythms.

Saturday August 3, time for classical music with “Alter Duo”, Julien Mathias on double bass and Jean-Baptiste Mathulin on piano. Created in 2015, Alter Duo offers a musical journey highlighting the lyricism and virtuosity of the double bass. Designed around original pieces and transcriptions, the program subtly alternates works by great composers and lesser-known pieces taken from the double bass repertoire.

Saturday August 10, the Akos Quartet, a string ensemble, classical music concertist will give a concert with Alexis Gomez on violin, Aya Murakami on violin, Katya Polin viola and Cyrielle Golin cello. After advanced instrumental studies in France, Germany, Israel, Japan… Alexis, Aya, Katya and Cyrielle unite their experiences and their cultures in a demanding aesthetic and musical research.

Saturday August 17, Ensemble 44 will present contemporary creation based on the repertoire of Western music. Ensemble 44 thus addresses a broad musical territory. This program highlights the bass clarinet. In a duo with the cello, an unexpected formation is created which highlights with rhythm, energy and lyricism, the dance movements of classical music, traditional tango and klezmer music, or those, more contemporary, inspired by popular dances such as disco.
