First qualifying race for the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race (Sunday January 26, 2025), the Prix de Bretagne takes place this Sunday November 17 at the Vincennes racecourse. Eighteen trotters aged 5 to 10 will compete to win one of the first four qualifying places for the World Harness Trotting Championship.
(Zone-turf.fr) – The 2024/2025 Winter Meeting is marked by a change in the qualification process for the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race since now the first four of the Prix de Bretagne (Q1), the Prix du Bourbonnais (Q2), the Prix de Bourgogne (Q5) and the Prix de Belgique (Q6) will qualify for the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race instead of the first three. No change concerning the Critérium Continental (Q3) and the Prix Ténor de Baune (Q4) which will allow its winner to qualify.
In the absence of Idao de Tillard (who will make his return to the Prix du Bourbonnais), Jushua Tree and Go On Boy, the horses competing in the Prix de Bretagne will aim for one of the first four qualifying places. Hooker Berry and Ampia Mede Sm are the two richest competitors at the start but they will give everything to ensure their qualification this Sunday. Winner of the Prix du Bourbonnais last year before being deprived of the Prix d’Amérique due to health problems, the Swedish trotter San Engine returns to France with great ambitions. Hokkaido Jiel, Hussard du Landret, Emeraude de Bais and Ganay de Banville will also be on view. Among the least wealthy at the start, Josh Power, Krack Time Atout, Just Love You and Ideal Ligneries will go all out.
