a moving tribute

In a post published on the Indochine Instagram account, the non-conformist group announced that they wanted to pay tribute to the deceased relatives of their fans, by publishing their photos on stage. Portraits which will have been sent in advance to an email address provided by the musicians, and which will be broadcast when the title “Annabelle Lee” resonates. A song from a poem by Edgar Poe, where the narrator evokes the death of his wife and the love that continues despite her disappearance, and which is taken from Indochine’s latest album “Babel Babel”, released last September.

portraits to be sent “before the beginning of December”

“You have lost someone close to you (parent, friend, etc.), you want to pay tribute to them. We would also like to spare a thought for them during the tour,” explains the group in a publication. The press release specifies that the photos sent must only show the deceased. Indochina fans will have until “before the beginning of December” to provide their photos. An initiative dear to Indochina, which concludes its moving message with “Thank you, we think very much of them”, followed by a white heart emoji.
With their “Arena Tour”, the group led by Nikola Sirkis will be on stage 67 times from January 31, 2025. If most of the 600,000 tickets on offer have sold out in just a few hours, Indochine will stop at all the major cities in , then Brussels and Lausanne, to complete his musical journey on June 20 and 21, at the Accor Arena in .
