FIFE. Conakry celebrates African cinema
This annual film event celebrates African and international cinema.
Created to promote local and international cinematic works, it provides a platform for filmmakers from the region to present their films, share their experiences, and engage audiences through screenings, workshops and debates.
The festival aims to strengthen the cinema industry in Guinea and encourage artistic creation, while providing networking opportunities for professionals in the sector.

The International Film Festival of Guinea (FIFIG) aims to highlight Guinean cinema, as well as cinematographic works from other horizons, particularly those from African countries.
This festival provides a platform for the dissemination, promotion and recognition of films and cinematographic talents, thus contributing to the development and diversification of the cultural landscape in Guinea and on the African continent.

The FIFIG includes an official competition, where films from various categories (feature films, documentaries, short films) are evaluated by a jury composed of cinema professionals.

The selected films often address social, cultural, historical or political themes relevant to African and global societies, thus encouraging deep reflection among spectators.
In addition to film screenings, the festival may include workshops, master classes, conferences and debates, providing opportunities for training and sharing of experiences between film professionals and the public.
