The platform specializing in independent cinema Jolt has released the trailer for “The Bibi Files”, an American documentary dedicated to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which notably presents previously unseen images of the latter’s police interrogations between 2016 and 2018.
Benjamin Netanyahu has continued to proclaim his innocence in the cases implicating him today, saying the corruption charges against him were fabricated as part of a witch hunt led by the police, the ministry public, with the support of a weak attorney general.
“It’s absurd and senseless,” the Prime Minister says in the documentary as he speaks during the investigations. “You are trying to incriminate the Prime Minister for absurd reasons.”

In another scene, he vigorously bangs his hand on the table while denying “shameful” accusations.
The documentary will be broadcast on Jolt from December 11.
The recordings from Netanyahu’s corruption investigation featured in the documentary – which were released last year to acclaimed director Alex Gibney – include interviews with Netanyahu, his wife Sara and his son Yair, as well as friends, collaborators and other employees.
The film also contains interviews with former senior Israeli officials, including former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert – who served time in prison. There are also interventions by Raviv Drucker, a veteran Channel 13 journalist, and a survivor of the pogrom that was committed by Hamas on October 7 at Kibbutz Beeri.
Gibney declined to provide any details regarding the identity of the person who gave him the recordings of the interrogations.
