Fake snow sprinkled on the square in front of the Saint-Maclou church, the windows of the shops on rue Damiette and that of rue massacre sprayed with snow, garlands of fir trees enhanced with large sparkling stars above of the street massacre, there was like a Christmas feel in the first days of summer between June 21 and 24, 2023 in the city center of Rouen (Seine-Maritime).
All this for the purposes of filming. That of an American Christmas TV movie. At the time, very little information had filtered out. The members of the production we met didn’t want to say anything. From now on, we know almost everything since the film has already been broadcast across the Atlantic at the end of October 2023. For us, in France, we had to wait a long time since the film is broadcast this Tuesday, November 12 on TF1 at 2:20 p.m..
Love at first sight at the Christmas market
The Americans named it Merry Christmasin French, but the TF1 channel still decided to rename it: if you want to watch it, it’s called Love at first sight at the Christmas market. The story is that of two American journalists who find themselves investigating a mysterious painter in France, in the “magical” atmosphere of a Christmas market. In the casting, faces rather known to fans of American series with the actress Jaicy Elliot who notably played Doctor Taryn Helm in the series Grey’s Anatomy and the actor Brant Daugherty who played the role of Noel Khan in the series Pretty Little Liars and Brian in Days of our lives.
