From November 14 to December 14, theShores Space of the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans living abroad welcomes theexhibition “Poetry and painting” by the Moroccan-French artist Loubaba Laâlej.
This exhibition promises to immerse visitors in a universe where words and colors meet to give life to exceptional works. THE openingscheduled for Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m., will be punctuated by a poetic reading accompanied by the talented lutenist Youssef Louzaenriching this presentation with a musical breath. This event will also be an opportunity for the artist to sign his book “Poetry and Painting” prefaced by Adib El Machrafi et Said Ahid (French version) as well as by Nour Eddine Dirar et Oumar El Asri (Arabic version).
Originally from Fez and residing in Paris since 1956, Loubaba Laâlej has distinguished himself by an impressive artistic career. Journalist, sociologistgraduated in international studiesshe has always been immersed in the world of art, inheriting from her family a passion for paint and thewriting. Having exhibited his works in Francein Italyau Vietnamin Spainand many other countries, she saw her talent crowned by an honorary doctorate awarded by the International Fine Arts Forum (Fine Arts Forum International) in 2019.

Through his work, Loubaba Laâlej creates an unprecedented dialogue between painting and poetry, where color becomes the echo of words. Inspired by her own migratory experiences, she seeks to reconcile the two arts on the canvas, inventing a space where the intimate and the universal, memories and the imagination intertwine.
By crossing artistic boundaries, she invites the viewer to a sensitive exploration of emotions and the beauty of the world, carried by a bold and profoundly creative approach.
