It is one of the biggest events of the year in Monaco. The stars follow one another on the carpet – blue, not red – of the Monte-Carlo television festival to present films and series from around the world. Prince Albert II, host of the festival, welcomed many stars, starting with the actor Morgan Freeman. He received from the hands of the Sovereign a Crystal Nymph, a prestigious award honoring his entire career, films Seven has Million Dollar Baby Passing by The escapees.
On the French side, several French celebrities came to open this festival, such as the actor and rapper Joeystarr. The one who recently revealed that he was in a relationship wore a surprising look mixing a suit and black shorts. Model and presenter Adriana Karembeu wore a long black dress with feathers in the “Black Swan” style and top model Victoria Silvstedt, for her part, preferred a dazzling red dress. Director Olivier Marchal was present to receive an Honorary Nymph, as well as actress Sara Mortensen, starring in the series “Astrid and Raphaëlle” on France 2, who sported his new haircut. Part of the Kretz family, star of the series on luxury real estate “The Agency“, also made the trip. The youngest of the siblings, Valentin Kretz, notably posed in front of the photographers with his wife, followed by his mother, Sandrine, whose daily life is not as serene as we think.
Princess Charlene absent
The Rock has also welcomed British and American stars, such as David Boreanaz, the eternal Angel of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, who chairs the Fiction jury this year. The actress from the flamboyant series Bridgerton, Simone Ashley, did not leave empty-handed but with the coveted Golden Nymph for Best International Newcomer, which was presented to her by Prince Albert. On the festival program: the 50 candles of the cult soap opera The Little House On The Prairie and the broadcast of the 1000th episode of the series NCIS with several actors from the show.
Missing from this opening evening was Princess Charlene of Monaco. This has increased the number of trips this week to Corsica then to the Landes for Water Safety Days, a day aimed at raising awareness of the risks of drowning which is particularly close to the heart of Gabriella’s mother. However, she should appear during the next few days of the festival, which will end on Tuesday June 18.
