A starred restaurant
Mathieu Peru was awarded a “knife” during this global gastronomic event. This international award comes a year after being praised by the Gault&Millau guide, which highlighted “the talents of the gastronomic scene”.
“It’s true, we give the distinction to the chef but there are 20 of us in the restaurant, if I was all alone not much would happen,” he recalled when we met him in November 2023.
The Nantes restaurant nestled near the banks of the Erdre was awarded a star by the Michelin guide in 2021. This global distinction is a new milestone for the man who took charge of the kitchens at Manoir de la Régate in 2017 at just 25 years old.
