A series of events canceled in Dieppe this weekend

|Updated 06/14/2024 at 10:40 a.m. ]Contrary to the publication announced by the City of Dieppe, the Our Neighborhoods of Dieppe Have Incredible Talent competition is scheduled for Saturday, June 15.

The weekend of June 15 and 16, 2024 promised to be festive in Dieppe (Seine-Maritime). Promised, since in the face of bad weather conditions announced, several events are canceled.

The announcement was made on Thursday June 13, 2024.

A tournament and a dance marathon canceled

The first event to be canceled was the dance marathon. Organized at François-Mitterrand Park, the organizers preferred to postpone the event.

Reasons which led to the cancellation of two other initiatives: the Our neighborhoods of Dieppe have incredible talent competition, scheduled for Saturday June 15 in the afternoon, on Place Henri-Dunant in Neuville-lès-Dieppe and the Green Galets volleyball tournament.

The volleyball club has nevertheless already given a new date: August 31, 2024.

Rain and gusts of wind forecast

According to Météo France, from Friday afternoon, rain is forecast with around 10 millimeters.

The wind remains light that day, but from Saturday, in the middle of the day, a fairly strong southwest wind will appear.

Gusts of 65 km/h are expected throughout the afternoon and into the early evening.
