The radio in Breton language RKBwhich can now be heard on the music sector Paimpol (Côtes-d’Armor), will broadcast from this Sunday November 10several podcasts made from testimonies collected near Paimpolaises and Paimpolais. Four episodes to listen to until February, including the first this Sunday at 2 p.m.
“Being Human” in four episodes
“Being Human” is a podcast series designed by the Paimpol association La Fabrique à Paroles based on the collection work carried out in Paimpol in partnership with the storyteller Ludovic Souliman.
The association aims to create links by putting meeting, exchanging and sharing at the heart of its concerns.
She has been carrying out collection work for several years in the Guingamp-Paimpol area.
From children to elders
On several occasions, for 8 years, Ludovic Souliman has come to Paimpol to meet the inhabitants: ancien.es who recounted their memories to children from the leisure center to high school students
Everyone spoke about subjects that touch them on themes as varied as memory, love, the condition of women, fear, wisdom, transmission…
In the end, a nice harvest of “seeds of memory” which are so many fragments of life’s journey.
Tell the other’s words
Between 2023 and 2024, new meetings took place regularly between the storyteller and the residents of the Quinic elderly residence as well as members of the Phare association which supports people suffering from mental and autistic disorders.
Exchanges and collectages were born, but also lectures which led to the creation of these podcasts.
So many stories that tell the words of others, their humanity…
Each of the podcasts was carried out in partnership with the musicians Sophie Chéné and Bénédicte Jucquois of the Chameleon company, based in Plouha. They designed a beautiful sound design which envelops you and accompanies you in listening.
